.Q: Two boys fill out registration forms for summer camp. The registrar notices that they have the same parents, live at the same address, and have the same date of birth. The only difference is that one is named Stuart and the other is Samuel. The registrar says, "Are you twins?" They both answer promptly, "NO!" How could that be?
.A woman lives on the 14th floor of an apartment building. When she goes to work in the morning she always takes the elevator all the way to the ground floor. But when she returns, many times she takes the elevator only up to the 7th floor and walks the rest of the way up. Why?
.Several shots are heard. A voice says pleadingly, "Don't shoot me, John." When the police get into the room they find a lawyer, a doctor, an Army lieutenant, and a mailman. A gun is on the floor. The police immediately arrest the mailman. Why?
.You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?
.You want to hire a temporary employee for one month. You offer him reasonable wages, but the employee suggests an alternative. For the first day of work, he will be paid a penny. For the second day, two pennies. For the third day, four pennies. The salary for each subsequent day will be double the previous day's, until the one month term is over. Ignoring the legalities of such a situation, would it be a good idea to accept the potential employee's proposal?

I have enough trouble finding my shoes in the morning, let alone using what little sense I have left to figure these out.
