Anyone hear anything about a large fight at Home Depot in Rome last night around midnight? I guess it had something do do with a robbery next to the store or something like that. I heard it over the scanner and I guess they had both RPD and the County Guys out there but I didn't hear anything else.

There isn't a Home Depot in Rome. Maybe Lowe's? Nothing in the Sentinel

An off-duty State Trooper was caught helping himself to the mulch being sold from the edge of the former Home Depot site. That might have raised a bit of commotion. Haven't heard of anything other than that. |

Mohawk Valley Mulch is adjacent to the parking lot of the former Home Depot. I suspect that's what Ryan was hearing on the scanner.
