Fugitive on Oneida County's Top 10 Wanted List captured in UticaUTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - One of Oneida County's top ten most wanted fugitives was captured Saturday afternoon. Michael Forester was wanted in both Oneida County and New York City. Forester was wanted by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for Criminal Possession Weapon 3rd and wanted by the New York Police Department for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 1st Degree. This is the second person from the Top 10 Most Wanted in Oneida County List found in the last four days. Shawn D. Moore was also found in Utica on April 7, 2009. He was wanted on felony charges and for failing to notify address change.www.wktv.com/news/local/42856037.htmlNot that I'd want to meet either of these dudes in a dark alley, but things must be pretty safe in Utica when two of the Ten Most Wanted are on the list for weapon and drug possession and Felony Failing to Notify An Address Change.

Yepper, it's getting that way slowly and that's because the UPD caught the rest of the degenerates and they're now behind bars.

Yes, and I was thinking that bank robbery isn't the career it used to be. The perps always seem to get caught. And they never get much anyway. We've come a long way since Bonnie and Clyde robbed banks on a Friday afternoon because the money was there to cash paychecks. Today, they'd be pulling some ATM scam.

I have never used mine because of the horror stories reported about how the crooks either rob you while at the ATM machines or how they have ways to see your account numbers while you're making a withdrawal. I scared they'll get all my money. lol!!!!!!!

Dave, I don't think the days of Bonnie & Clyde shooting it out are over. If anything, those days have gotten much worse. Even a warrant for no change of address which is a violation for most parolees can bring out a gun fight when the police find them and try to pick them up as proven yesterday in Syracuse. This violator opened fire on police officers injuring two before they brought him down. Thank God, the officer's injuries were not life threatening but it could have been and we would have been burying two more cops. Today, no call an officer makes is easy or safe in any way and should never be down played. The most dangerous is a family dispute which one might think is an easy call but actually is where a lot of officers are injured, shot at or killed. Another is a simple traffic stop where the officer never knows who is behind the wheel. Both of these reasons is why we buried seven officers in the last three weeks. We, as the public have "very little" knowledge of the real danger our officers actually face on a daily basis and don't realize just how bad our world has become. The violence has changed drastically because of all the drugs and weapons on the streets today. Our cops today face much more danger then ever before. My hat is off to the police in Syracuse for taking another scum-bag out and making the streets safer for all of us.

Just heard, Titus, was the name of the guy who opened fire on the Syracuse police yesterday. For some reason that name sounds familiar. I'm thinking that name was recently in our newspaper for some reason. Anyone else remember that name and what it might have been in the paper for?

There used to be a family of Titus's in Utica. They lived on John St for a long time, and were trouble from the word go. Druggies, drunks, and miscreants of assorted varieties. One of the women was diabetic, and epileptic. She was not supposed to drink, and surely not supposed to smoke dope. She would ALWAYS go to the third floor of the building to party with her friend. It never failed on a Saturday night, we would get an ambulance call to carry her fat ass down the stairs and take her to St E's. One Saturday we picked her up, took her to the hospital, where they treated her and released her. She took a cab home and two hours later we got another call to take her back to the hospital because she was still drinking and had another seizure.
I cracked an inhalant under her nose, brought her around, and told her to walk her fat ass down the stairs to the cot at the bottom. So goes the adventures of the John St. Tituses of the 1970's. Fights, drugs, booze, and domestic crap every night of the week, and worse on weekends. God rest that woman's soul. She never learned and died at an early age.
Mention that name to some of the older UPD officers from the 70's era, and see what their reaction is, LOL.

Don't know that family but do know the ones who lived in N.Utica. He was on the UPD. Don't quote me, but I think Syracuse news said the first name was Terry. Just remember that name recently in the OD and can't remember why it was in the paper.

North Utica Titus's are not the same family. I asked the cop that once when I was at the OD. He simply said "Lord NO" haha. There was a brother and sister, and who knows who the rest were, boyfriends, or husbands or whatever. There just always seemed to be trouble at that address. Hey every family has a skeleton in their closet, but that particular branch of THAT family tree most likely didn't bear any worthwhile fruit.

His arrest for probation violation is just a cover story. Actually, he was arrested for having the dumbest name in Utica, and the cops just wanted it on their blotter as proof they have to talk to such people without laughing.

LOL, Dave.
Jazzian. That's a crime all in itself.
Is that a tattoo on his face? That should be another charge.

That may be a scar where someone told him to shut up, and he thought they said stand up.
