Ya trying to tell us the field is too short? Been to the old stadium many times and I'm hoping to see the new one in person in the near future. ;D Boy, the economy can't be that bad in NY if both the Mets and the Yanks both got new home fields.

lets see now. $850 million for the Mets and $1.5 billion for the Yankees. Not a bad sum in a poor economy. Wonder how much the ticket price for a game will be now? Someone has to pick up the cost for the new fields. What the hell was wrong with the old stadiums?

I can't believe I stayed up until midnight to watch the Yankees lose to the Red Sox last night.

You weren't the only dummy. Stayed up to watch the Rangers lose, then capped off the evening with the Yanks losing. Depressing!

I heard the way the stadium is built and the way the wind tunnels through the stadium has much to do with those balls flying out of the park. It's all about physics.

I guess the yanks will have to BUY some hitters. I love the yanks, but is that not the way they remedy such problems as having the opposing team hitting all the home runs?? May be an interesting thing to watch play out. How would you fix a physics thing that allows the wind to carry too many balls over the wall in HR territory?? Hmmm, maybe have to go to whiffle balls and plastic bats! LOL The RED SOX??? OH NO!!!!

Heck, that is an easy one. Goerge will probably buy a dozen if the prices are right, LOL. Gee, they would not even have to play a full season or travel. They could just use them for home games. LOL.

A sweep in Boston is almost more than a man can take. I am THIS ->||<- close to saying "The Yankees are dead to me!"

Hang in there Frank. Maybe Billy Martin's ghost will appear and guide them down the road to a winning season. They get what they desrve when George does shit like canning Torres. How many times did he shitcan Billy and take him back? The yankees will be back. It is just a matter of time.
