Larry, what city do you live in? Ya got to get me going, right? Man, I'd be mighty careful if I were you walking the streets in Utica and not just in W.Utica. If you just read the police blotters every day you will see that groups of kids travel all over Utica just looking to fight anyone or cause havoc and damage where ever they travel. Damn Larry, if you said that at any of the Neighborhood Watch Group meeting those little old ladies that feel they are prisoners in their own homes because it's not safe to walk the streets anymore would hit you right over your head with their umbrellas or the big sticks they carry now. ;D Yes, I have seen an improvement "just" in the last six months and only because we now have more police officers on to patrol with the assistance of the State police also, but I still would not be brave enough to walk the streets, especially at night. I am not a pansy by far but I would not consider walking the streets alone without some kind of protection. I'm just not stupid and I am well aware of what is happening in Utica. You might consider attending one of the Group meetings when you get a chance to find out the rest of the story.

That is where it comes in handy being a veteran. You just tell them "chill out kid, I might be your daddy" LOL. Although I never felt safe enough to get that close to a Vietnamese woman. People got blown up doing that stuff. It always felt safer behind twin 50's than in bed with the native population. I would think that the safest uniform of the day for that activity would be a condom accompanied by a flak jacket.
