THEY don't HAVE the answers, or they are afraid to let us know what THEIR answers to the problems are.

[W]hy not utilize this platform to inform the public of their position and the justification for it? 1. They don't necessarily even comprehend the problems, let alone have an idea how to resolve them. 2. The other politicians won't take a wonderful opportunity to really serve us because their justification for everything is "You elected me for a reason, now shut up, go away, and let me do my job. You have no basis to question or oppose me because you elected ME!" With that mentality, it explains the desire to keep everything secretive from the public. It's obvious they are in the public service sector solely for personal gain, not to serve the public. Like someone said of the local good ol' boys club, cockroaches scatter for cover when you shed light on them... |

I just went and registered and left a post. Congrats Will, it looks great. Damn sure has enough areas to post to, to keep one busy maintaining it and keeping it fresh. Haha.

Does one need to reregister if we were registered with the old board..or is that a silly question.
It screams "Guy Forum" to me. I was hoping it would be more like the old forum we grew to love so well.

It does kinda scream guy forum. What can I do/add to make it more appealing to a female audience? |

Will, do you do Flash work? Some... I work with a very noob flash program called swishmax that does most of the work for you. If you can use windows movie maker you can use that. I've tried to teach myself flash programing and sadly my results have been less then inspiring. On another note. I did a lot of reorganizing of the forum and added some new sections. I tried to make it more appealing to women. I condensed the forums by county section as all those forums just made the whole thing very intimidating and seemed more political and guy oriented then just a fun community site. |

Thanks! I did the right thing. I asked my wife! LoL. Last thing I wanted was a site geared only to men. I want only a nice fun community website not politically driven. If you have any ideas or would like to see something on there, please by all means just ask and you shall receive.
I made Rod Wilson a global moderator on the forums. He's a great guy and posts a lot of great stuff. A welcome addition to the team.
