The site was bought by Utica Daily News dot com. www.uticadailynews.comOne of our members researched that site and it lists Bill Keeler the radio personality as one of the owners. I have found the daily news site to be a refreshing supplement to, and escape from, the OD Hompage. Bill Keeler is a talented man and a great personality. He will "keep it real". We will have to see if the CNY Forum is brought back in a modified format by the new owners, or simply folded into the Daily News page, and done away with as a separate entity. In the mean time, encourage any of your friends from the CNY Forum to join us here at Clipper's Busy Corner. We always have room for new members and new opinions. Many of us were also members of CNY Forum, including myself (Tnbassbuster on the CNY site) Dave Griffin, Jon Hynes, Dick Laurey, and many others. I guess we will just have to sit tight and see what they choose to do with the name and the site. I wish them all the best of luck. The Daily News has been a refreshing change, so maybe they will give us a new and improved CNY Forum also.

Thanks for the updated information Joe, and thanks for joining us here. I am sure we will enjoy your inputs, and you will enjoy the forum here. Hey, at least you can simply post a comment, and not have to moderate anything or maintain the site.

Joe, is there any way some of us can get our posted material off the CNYForum? There were quite a few posts that we refer to from time to time, but never copied off, always assuming the forum would be there.
I can't imagine the contents of the forum are "sealed" for any reason. Though I do recognize it would be extra work to get the posts.

I think it would depend on whether the forum is maintained or deleted from the server.

Very professional looking and eye catching. Gotta believe with these other sites popping up, (Will's as well as Rod's) and the importance of their messages, that Clipper's Corner is becoming a "daily read" for people at City Hall and for those at your O.C. Legislature also. I sure wish they would join in the discussion instead of just lurking and reading. Is Larry Jr. the only one that is brave enough to face his constituents and answer the tough questions??
Oh, I get it! THEY don't HAVE the answers, or they are afraid to let us know what THEIR answers to the problems are.
Gee, the atmosphere here is civil, and the discussion is kept respectable, so why not utilize this platform to inform the public of their position and the justification for it?
I am impressed with Rod's site and it's intent and agenda. I am also anxious to see what Will's site will bring to the area's citizens. I have them both bookmarked for daily reading, and Will's site is not even up and running yet.
Thanks for joining us here guys and I hope the relationship between the three sites is beneficial to us all. I am looking forward to some meaningful discussion as a result of your linking your sites for us.
