Well, it is no longer a rumor about a subpoena being served upon Town of New Hartford Officials.
News has it that Earle Reed, Town Supervisor was served a subpoena by the NYS Attorney General's Office in June 2008 and that much was being done to keep this from the general public and news services.
Gerald Green, Town Attorney has met with both Earle Reed and Carol Ryan, Town Secretary to Earle Reed on or about June 17, 2008 and July 29, 2008 or pretty close to these dates.
One thing for certain, Concerned Citizens For Honest & Open Government, through their meticulous foiling efforts (at personal cost to the membership) brought to the surface allegations that were more than just that...they were the truth behind many improprieties being entertained by our Republican elite (elected) officials together with the rest of the town personnel playing "dumb." in these matters.
