I remember when we once lived in a free nation like Communist China: China February Auto Sales Rise 25% After Tax Cuts
March 10 (Bloomberg) -- China vehicle sales surged 25 percent in February, the first gain in four months, after the government cut taxes on some models, helping the country extend its lead as the world’s largest auto market this year.
Sales of passenger cars, buses and trucks climbed to 827,600, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said today in Beijing. The tally in the first two months rose 2.7 percent to 1.56 million, compared with a 39 percent decline to 1.35 million in the U.S.

These folks are poised to eat our lunch. Actually, they're about half way through the main course. A few months ago I decided to buy one of those WiFi adapter thingy's you just plug into any old usb port on your computer.... the kind with a 3 inch antenna for better reception. Checking such places as Best Buy, etc., on the net, I ran into $39.95 plus 8 dollars shipping. I found a guy in China on eBay who got one to me in less than a week (!) for $16.95, plus $4 shipping. Brand new and carded in a plastic bubble and all in English.
Only one time did I have a problem with a product bought directly from China, and when I sent the guy an email, he told me to throw out the $79.95 item and he promptly sent me a new one. That's as good as LL Bean.
I wonder if LL was Chinese?
