I just finished reading Joe Torre's book about the Yankees. It was ok. It repeated itself a lot and gave a bunch of stats that I had no interest in. I think it was written mostly by the other guy with interjections by Joe from time to time. It showed what an even bigger jackass Brian Cashman is. He has no clue about putting a winning team together. All he cares about is a player's stats not whether or not they can mesh with the team, their work ethic, or even if they have heart enough for the game. I'm surprised Joe lasted as long as he did without telling them to take their job and shove it. The crap he had to put up with from high maintenance players to the jerks in the front office. He got along with George just fine. Brian Cashman needs to find a new job with a different team. Let him "help" them with their roster! He's done so well with the Yankees.
