a hermimer resident who owns a leathergoods store at sangertown mall a bit of a character to say the least good to do busines with stands by his product reasonable prices.

Charlie's had his Forever Leather (fuhevaleddah - all one syllable) shops for years and doing his own commercials for almost as long.
I especially love it when he marks something down to 3 dollars, or "tree beans" as he says.

Seems Charlie might make a better version of an Ed Hanna as colorful mayor than Ed did. Wouldn't it be ironic if a policeman had to live in Utica, but the mayor could live elsewhere?

Charlie's a trip. I remember when he first opened his store at Sangertown...I innocently asked him how business was going and he got all defensive. 'Why? Who wants to know? Do you work for the mall?'. It was pretty funny.
