I do have a photo of Joe Bader, of Baders Gulf Keyes Rd, red Ram Air Cobra Jet Torino at ESTA Racing...but I think my good friend Brian Eck was taking it down the track in the photo. Joe was pretty laid back and let everybody drive his cars. This Torino was a stick car and awesome top end on it when I got my turn to try it out one day.

Here is the car that I drove in High School. Actually the photo was taken in Kennedy High parking lot! I also raced it every Saturday night at Utica-Rome Speedway!

Nice ride... especially for high school! 1968? Just over the top of your passenger headlight and those trees will bring you to my mom and dad's house. They lived about 5 houses away from the school on Deerfield Dr. East. I worked o the renovation of Kennedy. the library, auditorium those little black light poles around the front sidewalk... all my handy work! lol I was just getting out of my apprenticeship as an Electrician.

I've been talking with Rod Skinner on a regular basis now. He's thinking of selling the older Dodge and maybe one of his trucks. Will know more this week we may get together.

Have been watching Barret-Jackson 's auction... I think the price of the average collector has dropped some. There were some great buys on there. today 2-6pm is the last of it on the speed channel.

Yeah, it was a cool ride! It had a 283 with flat tops, a Dontov 30/30 cam, 4:88s, all kinds of cool stuff! It was the perfet 1/8 mile car and was a killer street car. I have a pic of it with so much torque it twisted one front wheel up a few inches off the ground!

Tracman, talked to Rod and Cindy today and they were both happy you've called him. He really needs his friends to help keep things off his mind and to vent to. Not an easy time for him or her. Thank you for being such a good friend to a friend in need.

Thanks Bobbiez. Just wish I had known he was in the hospital before, I would have gone and visited him. He may stop by tomorrow on his Syr run. That would be great.

Hey Dick! Remember this one? I found it in Clarks Mills when I was 20. Paid $400 for it! Sold it for $900 a year later when I moved to North Carolina. Thought I made a killing....

Tracman, sorry I didn't inform you sooner but sometimes one isn't sure if it's the right thing to do when it involves other's health information . If you know what I mean. Just glad I made the right decision and you ran with it. That's all that counts. All is good.

Hey Mike ! I think that maybe George Croff's old Road Runner. I think he sold it to a Ray or Ed Meyers and it ended up out that way. Do you know any history of this one? Would be nice to have it now! If we had all the old cars we owned over the years we would be millionaires! I got to get digging for some photos today. Had breakfast with Lance and a few guys saturday...said he had a hard time getting on here... not sure why.

Boy you got me thinking of some of the cars I let go!
1963 Pontiac Catalina... plain jane bench seat......Factory 421 cubic inch, tri-power motor, 4 speed with factory 4.10 gears ...white/ blue interior...real sleeper factory car....paid less that a grand sold it for about the same.
1967 2+2 factory 428 cubic inch HO motor 376 hp, 4 speed, 4.10 gears. my ex at that time... broke the timing chain sold it for about $450 as is to Jack Webb. Real limited production car.
1968 GTO red/ black vinyl top... all options 4 speed....ram air...3.90 or 4.10 gears..... hood tack....8 track player traded it to Dennis Johnson
