Twas night before elections and all through the town Tempers were flaring Emotions all up and down
I in my bathrobe With the cat in my lap Had cut off the TV Tired of the political crap
When all of sudden There arose such a noise I looked out my window And saw Obama and the boys
They had come for my wallet They wanted my pay To give to the others Who had not worked a day
He snatched up my money And quick as a wink Jumped back on his bandwagon As I gagged from the stink
He then rallied his henchmen Who were pulling his cart I could tell they were out To tear my country apart
On Fannie, on Freddie On Biden and Ayers On Acorn and Pelosi He screamed at the pairs
They took off for his cause And as he flew out of sight I heard him laugh at the nation That wouldn't stand up and fight
So I leave you to think On this one final note If you don't want socialism GET OUT AND VOTE!!

Cherry flavored is my favorite, hahaha!
Just could not resist putting it up, just to see your reply, Kiddo, LOL.
Actually, I received it from a very disenchanted democrat, but I don't know who the author was.
Maybe by tonight, we will know who will be the President of the United States of America for the next four years, and then maybe we will be waiting for recounts, protests, and injunctions to be cleared before we know for sure.
With all the fuss about the people that hung Obama in effigy after finding a Palin doll hung in effigy, a hanging chad in Florida may be considered a "hate crime".
I will just be glad when it is all over. I am really and truly sick of listening to it everywhere I go. Maybe we can get back to taking care of the country's business instead of slandering our opponents and making promises that will never be kept.
I am comforted by the fact that many of the promises made CANNOT be fulfilled, thank God.
