Well, I guess you all know where the Obama vote came from!
It's funny...most of you live in a 'blue state' and everyone here is originally from a 'blue state'. I've lived in a 'red state' for 11 years and pretty much everyone I know down here is voting for Obama. What happened? Did Upstate NY become a southern state?

Must be a BIG kool aid stand over there in Greensboro, haha. Hang in there Kiddo, it will be alright, and we will survive no matter which candidate wins. Want one of my blood pressure pills? Maybe TWO!

Central NY has always been a consistently "red" part of NYS. Unfortunately the population mass in NYC, Buffalo and to some extent Albany outnumber us hicks considerably. www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap2000.htmThe above link also shows results for the 2000 and 2004 elections. Our blue state has a lot of red in it, just those red counties have significantly less population. The surprise is the blue concentration in the north country.

Saw a good bumper sticker today ... "I'll keep my guns, my freedom and my money; you keep the CHANGE"

Depends upon who your friends are, I guess. I'm red and live in a blue county. My friends are a mixture of each. But my red friends and blue friends travel in different circles.

My county in NC went blue. As of right now the race is still too close to call for NC, but it looks like the state might go blue as well.

I found it interesting that most of the Northeast is blue while most of the South is red. I guess that divide still stands somewhat.

That is because many of the blue voters came south from the NE Kim. The disease is spreading, haha! Pretty soon NC dudes will be called "blue necks".

Market is still dropping. Guess we know that the investors and the market think about the results... I'm pissed that Hanna didn't win. He should have concentrated harder down here in Broome County and Otsego County. Everyone bought Arcuri's lie ad about how Hanna is another Bush.
