Oh oh, the camping season is almost over, and Kim will be looking to take on her winter diet, which will include birthday cake and other sweet treats. Guard the cake. Todd and Bobbbiez may be lurking about also, waiting for the cake to be left unattended, haha.

You always seem to have one song or another stuck in your head. I have to think that it is simply part of a very happy life and cheery personality. Either that or you forgot to take out the earbud again, haha. Do you ever feel like your head is a juke box, and try to unplug it, so you can hear normal conversation??Heehee.
Seriously kiddo. You are just a happy person that walks through life with a song in your head and your heart. That attitude is evident in the man you picked for a husband and in the lessons your are teaching your wonderful son. When I tell folks that I enjoyed the time that I spent with ya when I met you here in Bristol, that is the aura around you guys that made the meeting so enjoyable.
Ken is of the same heart. I noticed right away how compatible you two are, and how wonderfully in synch you both are in providing a patient and loving upbringing for the "Critter".
For those of you here at "the corner" that get a chance to meet Kim and company when she is in the area at Christmas, I am sure you will agree that she and Ken are a ray of sunshine that will restore your faith in the younger generation, and my buddy Stephen (Critter) is like the energizer bunny on sterioids, but a wonderful and sweet little boy.
I tend to assess people that I become acquainted with, and form a vision of them and their personality in my mind. I have many new friends on here that I can't wait to meet in person to see how accurately I have assessed them. I was very much on target with my assessment of what great guy Dave is, when I had the opportunity to meet him. I was a little off on what I envisioned his physical appearance to be, but personality wise, he is just what I had envisioned, and a ton of fun to be around and to converse with.
Hey, for those of you that meet ME at Christmas time. I hope you are not dissappointed, haha. I gotta tell ya, I am just the miserable retrobate that I am on here most of the time, but there IS a flicker of compassion still burning somewhere inside this raggedyass old body, that loves to make new friends and never stops talking, hahaha. Looking forward to meeting as many as I can with the limited time we will be in town.
With my dad on his death bed, I may be back in the area soon, either permanently, or possibly just summers. We have discussed buying a summer place on a lake, such as Kayuta or Delta, and wintering here in Tennessee where we already have this house, a few good friends and my large and comfortable workshop.
Jeez! I hijacked another thread, but at least I didn't send this one down the crapper, haha.
