just read a very unusual book titled Gentleman and Players written by Joanne Harris. It began as an intriguing story but some very unexpected twists at the end made it a real surprise ending. I highly recommend it for some great pleasure reading. Not your typical romance novel - not a romance at all - good reading for men and women. Lrtill, tell us more! Is it modern times or set in the old days? What are the characters like?

It is modern times but in an English private boys school which is kinda caught in a time warp so the language is a partly old fashioned. It is written in the first person, switching back and forth between the 2 main characters. It is a mystery but you don't know what the real mystery is till near the end of the book. You think you know "who did it" but find you are right and wrong at the same time in the end. A very good and different ending. I think it would make an excellent movie.
