I am seeing reports of over 5 feet of snow in areas like Camden, Taberg, and Ava. I lived in Point Rock for a few years back in the early 80s and 3 feet or more was not unheard of when one of the lake effect systems set up and dumped on the Tug Hill Plateau.
How much snow did the Utica area and points South receive?
We had 2 to 4 inches here that started with a freezing mix making driving very hazardous where roads were not pre-treated. It rose to around 38 yesterday and melted some of it and will be around 40 again today. Hopefully the snow will be gone by tonight. We are facing another spell of extreme cold (extreme for this area anyway). Temperatures are to be in the mid teens to low 20's at night and only mid 20's to around 30 during the day.
I can't believe how cold I get with such weather considering the fact that I used to endure days at a time when the temperatures in CNY didn't come above zero. If it gets down into the low 40's or lower I am bundled up like an Eskimo and still cold. Blood thinners and old age I guess.

We may have gotten a foot or so. Hard to say exactly since it was spread out and driveway was cleared a couple times. It never got to the point where I felt we couldn't get out if we needed to go somewhere.
