Saving change adds up quickly

I have container on my dresser that I drop my change into. In just over 2 weeks I accumulated close to
$35.

I dump it into large plastic pretzel jar in my closet. The last time I took it to the bank there was over $700 in it.

It is getting full again. The last time I took it to the bank I had to split it between two jugs because the one was too darned heavy to carry. I also have a big Texas fifth whiskey bottle full of pennies I should cash in. Thank goodness the bank has a machine that counts it. I remember years ago a person had to count and roll all that change and then put your name on the rolls. I guess now they have a machine to roll the coins also.

I do the same thing but not on the same scale as you but I might just copy what you are doing. I also use the coin counting machine but it is at Walmart and coinstar gets a cut on the counting but it is never much. I have come close to $100 but it would be fun to hit the $700 like you.
