Wow it destroyed St Mary's Church in Rome. Rome in under state of emergency. Saw a car tipped over and it blew a B52 off the runway into a field. Duofold building brought half of building down. Our weather is getting as bad a Kansas!!!!!

Someone posted video of Garden St. in Rome, it looks like a war zone. Power lines down, massive trees uprooted & some sheared in half. I heard a couple church steeples were blown down, not sure of the churches.

Nothing here except heavy rain & wind. Power failure for about 3 hours which was restored about 15 minutes ago. Just lucky I guess.

The B-52 wasn't blown off the runway PB. It was anchored to concrete pads and was a static display inside the former Chestnut St gate. The winds blew over 2 church steeples that I have read about so far. Did it get that rough in Utica too? They had some heavy weather down the valley too. Kathy's 93 yr old aunt was petrified. She dragged her recliner to the middle of the room and hunkered down with her rosary and prayed until it passed.

Hochul is asking the W.H. to declare Rome a Natural Disaster area. The damages have to meet a threshold of $37 million. No word yet on a determination.

Maybe the hate slingers like J.D. should take a good look at what's happening in Rome with the community joining together to help each other after the disaster instead of ranting about how rotten this Country is in the year 2024. That's goes for 90% of them at that convention who have done nothing but tear this Country down. What's even worse is that 99% of the uber wealthy hate slingers at that convention wouldn't show up at a natural disaster for 5 minutes unless it was a photo op.
