So, after doing all the reams and mountains of paperwork the CRM Mgmt required just to be included in the apartment lottery ( no guarantee that you will get an apt) the lottery was pulled and my number is 132 out of 153. They were supposed to begin calling the lottery winners Monday, but no call yet, also my friends number came up as no 3 out of 153 and no one has called her either. So that means that I have 131 people ahead of me waiting to be screened and those 131 have first choice. All calls to CRM Managment re: the Olbiston are forwarded to an answering service and none have been returned. They projected an opening date of July 1st, with what they call a "mass move in." That gives me, if I am called Tuesday, 4 days to give my notice, that includes my interview, my signing, my deposit, my key release, my apartment choice if one is even available for me. I have no clue as to how this is even going to happen. I went to the website and the page has been modified to exclude all the pricing and the availability of the no. of units available for singles. I talked to my mover who came over for the estimate and he was appalled: he said essentially he never heard of any "mass move ins" and has no idea how that would be accomplished, given that that is a holiday weekend, and to try and move all 153 people in at one time would be total chaos, and he has been 15 years in the business. So, I feel like my head is exploding, but I think CRM is imploding

Gee, how did I know that this would turn into a fiasco? I said it before. There is no way in hell that 150 people will be able to be moved in on a July 4th weekend. Whoever came up with that idea has there head shoved up where the sun don't shine.
Good luck.

What on earth will people do if where they currently live requires a 30 day notice ? That could cause huge problems.
And of all the 153 who move in hopefully they are not among those at Kennedy Plaza trying to get out. I heard many are looking to move.
