Our local tv station relies on the weather station at the airport for temperature and wind speed. It is reporting 81 degrees right now. I just came in to take a breather because both of our outdoor thermometers are showing 87 degrees and not even a faint breeze blowing. Time for a bottle of water and a few minutes in the air conditioning.
I rely on OUR thermometers due to the consistent differences between the airport and here and here in the hollow there often is no breeze when they are reporting 10 or 15 mph wind.
