I mowed 4 or 5 days ago and the lawn had gotten ahead of me again because of the rain. Every day lately it has rained or rain was forecast. In the 4 or 5 days since I last mowed the grass had popped up to 4 or 5 inches. Tall enough that I will have to go back with the discharge deflector tied up with a bungee cord and scatter the clippings in some places when I get a nice dry day. It is beautiful today. The sun is shining, the sky is cloudless and a beautiful blue, and the temperature was 81 when I came in. Now to decide whether I want to go out and weed whack or turn on the tv and vegetate in my chair. Leaning more toward the latter option.

Good luck. We have a lot of lawn here at my apartment complex. It takes the full time and part time maintenance men 5 days or more to complete what with all the interruptions' they get. With the rain we had my backyard which was mowed last Wed. looks like it was never mowed. They are only on call weekends and holidays so nothing gets done unless it is an emergency.
