Gee thanks : "The [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] actually has some really striking images of what it looks like when someone has neurocysticercosis. There are these cysts, or little balled-up eggs, in the brain—it has a very Swiss-cheese appearance." That end my love of Swiss cheese.I had a friend in Seminary who had an amoeba in his stomach. He contacted it one summer when he volunteered for service in Mexico for some agency within the Church . I remember him stoning me to come along and I kept saying no. Glad I didn't go. But I did go to England with several seminarians from two Seminaries because of some crazy reduced rate trip. We slept free wherever we went because we brought along some letter our Rector gave us but we did leave a generous tip( thanks Mom). Hey I even slept two nights in a convent!!!!!!!!! Now how many guys can say that!!!! Well it was the guest house of the Benedictine Sisters. I remember that because that was the place we were given porridge( Pottage ) for breakfast and I hate that stuff. We could use sugar or honey to make it taste better but it did not look so good from what I could remember.

Watch out for the canned tuna. RFK Jr claims he got a brain worm from eating too much of it. Maybe that's why he's nuts. I like canned tuna, Albacore only but don't eat a lot of it because some contains Mercury. Or so I've heard. I love canned tuna also. But I had a craving for Tuna in red sauce with ziti so I bought the glass can of tuna in olive oil that Walmart sells for well over $6.00. I do have to say it is delicious. I was watching an episode from Maria Esposito. I don't like tuna packed in oil. Never have been a fan.

I have never been a big fan of canned tuna. Barb has a couple recipes which are OK but they are nothing I request. When I was in grad school I frequently had a foil packet of salmon for lunch, ate it straight from the packet. Barb doesn't like that but does like tuna, canned or foil packet. No accounting for taste I guess.

We are noted for wandering on our conversations but this one is crazy. In summary: Americans don't really care who makes their stuff and care even less about how it gets to them. RFK Jr is nuts but he has a note from his doctor so he is excused, as long as he spends his grandfather's money he can run for President.

I don't eat tuna noodle casserole, salmon, or pickled herring either. Lol. I eat tuna mixed with mayo & red onion on toasted rye or even yuck, white bread if we're out of Italian.

If so, you're done for because the treatment usually doesn't work. I've never heard of one in the stomach. Most people get infected from swimming in warm water. Scary stuff.

Question for Clipper: what is your opinion on eating smelt? Uff-da. My family on Moms side always serves Smelts on Christmas eve as one of the seven fishes. We dredge them in egg then floor and deep fry till golden brown. I love them and have them a few times in winter months. For some reason I do not like tuna or salmon in foil packets.

I never understand what is going on in politics and lately it is all about arguing. I just want the ACP restored and keep emailing my House Rep and Senators and White House but I think I might becoming a pest which is good. Spectrum even sent a link to me that automatically send out emails to leaders asking to restore the ACP. So far it is being worked on in terms of funding it for the rest on 2024.
