This has nothing to do with politics: When I saw you on the OC Legislator's meeting today, it appeared you had on a new grey suit.
It looks good. Thumbs up. ;D

You're a sharp dresser...and all round good guy, Larry.
I don't miss those days of needing to wear suits to work. I did that for a time. Now it is only at weddings and funerals that I get all 'duded' up for. ;D

haha. When I was in management at the base, I kept a tie and jacket on the back of my office door. When I was summoned to the Commander's office for something or when I went to staff meeting, I wore it. The rest of the time, it was hanging. I simply wore dress slacks and a dress shirt. I hated it when I worked at the Headquarters at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. It was dress code to keep your tie on, and to put on your jacket if you were going out of the building. It is like 100 degrees in Oklahoma in summer.
I guess I would not make it in politics unless it was down here where Bib overalls are acceptable work wear, and a T-shirt with a bolo tie is formal wear. LOL.
PS, That is a nice looking suit Larry. You are always well dressed. It is part of an image and an impression that one makes. If you dress like a slob, you will be perceived to BE a slob, and if you dress well, you will command respect and it shows good taste.
I used to dress well, even though I was not a neck tie fan. Now I am retired, and it's bibs and t-shirts when working around the yard, and jeans and golf shirts the rest of the time. LOL. this retirement is a real bitch I'm tellin ya! lolol

Very true words, Clipper. But I refuse to install a camera for Stoney to see what I'm wearing.

Thanks everyone. If you only saw me trying to pick out my first real suits (right after winning the election), you would've laughed your butts off. Unfortunately, I didn't have my father around, so I had no idea what suit sizes or neck sizes meant. My cousin was with me and couldn't stop making fun of me. By the way, I can't stand wearing a suit. If you ever see me at regular committee meetings or even out campaigning, I dress EXTREMELY casual.
About a week ago we had a committee meeting and I wore a pair of kaki shorts and a retro 1960 "Students for Kennedy" t-shirt. Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.
