I had to start getting eye injection to treat my RVO. Had three shots and then the Dr wanted to switch me to what he said was a better treatment. ( no cures only treatments). So I went from a 50.00 copay to 412.26. That would be for the rest of my life for each month. Who has this kind of money. Injection alone was slightly over 6000.00. These pharmaceutical company are taking people to the cleaners. I know there are people out there that probably have it much worse. What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.

Sorry to hear that and yes you are correct. Hope they eye situation gets better. I have an appointment in May with my eye Doctor. When they did all the testing etc for the removal of cataracts which I had done with perfect results they also found some macula degeneration. So I have to see what this is all about.

They never get enough, they're not happy unless their fingers are in our pocket. This month when I recieved my pension my Federal witholding jumped from less then $50/month to a little over $340! Calling the pension plan to get some answers was a waste of time as they know nothing. The best I could get out of them is that the IRS has changed the Federal witholding guidelines for income taxes & I was told to contact my tax preparer. Yea right, I do our own taxes so I talked to myself & decided to submit another W-4P to the pension plan administrator in effect telling them NOT to deduct ANY federal taxes from my pension & I'll figure it out at the end of the year. And if they don't like it including Uncle Sam they can sue me. We paid more Federal income taxes for 2023 then Trump & a slew of his cronies probably did after his $2 trillion $$$ tax cut for himself & his buddies Something is wrong with this picture.

Do you normally owe a large amount when you file your tax return? That is one thing that will trigger the IRS to increase your withholding. The next step might be to file a written request for a review of the increase. That might get a response before next year.

My diagnosis is not macular but it is referred to it as such per my opthamolgist. The drs office hooked me up with a program that helps people pay for copays such as mine. 🙏🏻

(Thats what they told me , so hopefully correct and IRS has come knocking yet)
