Very interesting article. It is too bad that the harvest season is short and the financial benefit to the area is short lived. That said, any infusion of income, no matter how short lived figures into a family's overall annual income and provides a little bit of extra sustenance.

A person can mail order Manna Brew here in the US. For those that need to limit or eliminate caffeine it sounds like a great alternative. I however don't see it taking the place of my morning coffee. I don't even buy DeCaf. That jolt of caffeine is what jumpstarts my day. If I were to order any it would be the least expensive package, just to try it. It might make for a great treat but without the caffeine it will never take the place of morning coffee for most folks.
