Not being Catholic, I'm not familiar with St. Joseph. Is he the saint of sweet and gooey desserts?

Not being Catholic, I'm not familiar with St. Joseph. Is he the saint of sweet and gooey desserts? LOL.Yup. He is the husband of Mary. On his feast sweets etc and bread and other food items are collected by having people place food items on an altar dedicated to him. After the feast day all the food is given away. I remember buying a beautiful gooey cream stuffed pastry but somehow it never made it to the altar at Our Lad of Mount Carmel Church in Utica.

That's what his Mom called him but that is not in the Bible because Joseph was friends with all the evangelists and told them if that got out about him he would no longer make chairs and dinner plates for them.....and forget about repairing the wooden front door to their houses.
