Im looking forward to the eclipse in April (only 3 weeks away)
I plan on viewing from my balcony, hoping that works out for me. Got my eclipse glasses for viewing but my thoughts of capturing with a camera have been dashed. Unless you have a filter not a good idea. Ive researched all reputable sources for info. We are expecting a zillion visitors here so thoughts of viewing else where and fighting traffic make my balcony best place. Just hope no clouds and everything goes as planned.
Is Utica in the line of totality? If so are you planning on viewing the eclipse. Next one is 2044, I doubt Ill still be around for that one.
I did see the one in 2017. I thought it would go from daylight to nighttime but the sky just turned dark as if we were looking at a film negative. (Best to describe what I saw)
