That is sad. When I drove for Central Coach we used to do the grocery runs for Buck and for the building that you used to live in. Buck was nice and clean and pleasant back then. About 10 yrs ago we visited one of Kathy's former sister in-laws there. There was no pissy smell then but the place was running down. The carpet in the hallways needed replacing and the hallways were poorly lit. They probably had changed all the lights to lower wattage to save money. Her apartment was quite nice. The old gals used to congregate on the lawn under a shade tree to the left of the building as you face the front door. There was a couple of patio tables and some plastic chairs there.

The MVWA has a list of delinquint accounts on their website. It hasen't been updated since July 2023, but back then Buck's delinquint acct. was over $12,000.

I saw the outside of Buck Apt. on TV and four letters are missing from the entrance naming the building. LOL
We have a guy here who moved from Buck and he said the place it a dump. People pee and crap in the elevator when it is working when not the stairwells get blessed. LOL
All the apartment complexes in Utica have various problems due to lack of funding to fix anything. I had to laugh but when my refrigerator at the old place stopped working property they just swapped it out for someone else's refrigerator so you get another broken down frig! I asked for a new stove cause the oven is 45 to 55 degrees off and the elements on the stovetop are very worn out. Been three months and haven't heard anything. I have to mention it again. I bought a nice toaster oven so I can bake my chicken breasts and pork chops and kielbasa from the Polish Market in that. So not using the oven is no problem

I remember one day when this couple was moving out of there apartment. There two boys helped move them. Even brought a commode that was not dumped yet int elevator and it fell over. I was waiting for elevator on 2nd floor and when the door opened there it was a pile of crap. Never underestimate the what white and black trash can do. It is in their genes.LOL |

Many of these apartment buildings such as the ones owned by Mellinium are federally subdsidized by the Feds & owned by Wall St. banksters who don't give a damn about their tenants & treat them like cattle. Many of these tenants worked & still work for a living & deserve to live in a safe enviroment. This has been reported by the news media all across the Country about that outfit but of course the news media around here is more concerned with the latest meatball or riggie fest instead of doing some real investigative reporting.

The OD seldom had any reports from "man in the street." Their reporting was mostly man and a scanner or man and a telephone. Nancy Ford was the only one I used to see coming and going from the building very often and she was the photographer.
