Support undeterred at New York Mills Trump watch party despite criminal allegations by Samantha CrostonTue, January 23rd 2024 NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. — Tuesday night in New York Mills in Oneida County, attendees cheered at a Republican watch party, giving all their support to the candidate who won New Hampshire: former President Donald Trump. The results from New Hampshire are just what the people at this watch party were hoping for. With the news of Ron DeSantis dropping out, the Republican primary continues between Trump and Nikki Haley. This is an interesting election, as the former president is facing 91 indictments. What's propelling GOP voters to support Trump? Despite this, those who rallied in New York Mills said they believe the former president has the Republican nomination in the bag one person calling the allegations against him “bogus.” “He’s proven that he loves America,” said Jim Herchek, a volunteer. “I think that’s why people respond so strongly in loving him. They know we are in a time of really big change and a crisis economically that isn’t friendly to us, and he’s proven that he can get the economy going again.” “President Trump: Tested, true, the right man, at the right time,” exclaimed Jim Zecca, a member of Central New Yorkers for Trump. “That’s what we’ve got here. He has proven himself in the four years he was president in spite of the democrats.” Comment bubble JOIN THE CONVERSATION (5) Maine and Colorado are two of the states that are threatening to remove Trump from the ballot, arguing that he incited an insurrection with his actions on Jan. 6, however, attendees at the watch party said removing his name from the ballot is a threat to democracy. cnycentral.com/news/local/support-undeterred-at-new-york-mills-trump-watch-party-despite-criminal-allegationsI think this reflects the attitude of many in USA.

Trump wants Haley to drop out because he wants the campaign donations going to him & not her. The campaign donations that he's using to pay his tens of millions of $$$ in legal fees. Imagine a guy who claims to be a billionaire but who uses other people's hard earned money to line his pockets with. One big grift after another.

Unless you have some documented proof that he is using campaign contributions to pay his legal fees I think you are probably wrong in that assumption. I have little doubt that he is a billionaire. He is certainly more than wealthy enough to pay his own legal fees for his defense against the onslaught of politically driven indictments brought against him.

The RNC has been paying Trump's legal fees since he left office, or a good % of them. In fact, when Trump threatened to leave the GOP & start his own party because he was butthurt over one thing or another Rona McDaniel informed The Don that if he did the RNC would stop paying his legal fees. After that conversation he shut his yap about it. If memory serves me right that was around the same time he ran that "Stop The Steal" scam.
Politically driven indictments? Lol. He attempted a coup & ripped off top secret documents & hid them at his golf resort! They're are people rotting in Federal prisons for years & years for doing a hell of a lot less then what Trump did.

Biden should be right beside them. When a president is the subject of any lawsuit related to their time in office I assume that it is fairly normal for the government and the party to handle the legal defense fees.

Financial support from the federal government would only be if the suit involved an official act. E. Jean Carrol's lawsuit was not about any official acts. Many of his legal fees have been paid by funds donated to Political Action Committees (PACs). Those payments may be legally questionable.

Trump's PAC's have spent $50 million on legal fees & "expenses" in 2023. It would be interesting to find out just what those "expenses" are. Lol. Also, what if any disclosures is Trump revealing to donors? Like do they know that money that they're donating or a portion of it is going to line billionaire Trump's pockets?
One huge grift after another.
