The liberal bail laws have already left the general public in danger by leaving dangerous criminals walking the streets. The proposal to close prisons and consolidate will most likely leave inmates and guards alike in danger of violence. Knowing Governor Hochul, she probably has a plan brewing in the background to release a bunch of inmates early in order to avoid overcrowding. The woman is dangerous.

One of the legistlators was saying the State was goingvto look to the Feds for help with the migrant crisis. LOL, they can forget that idea. If they think for one minute that a GOP led House & Senate is going to bail out N.Y.S. in this matter they're out of their minds. When The Conman was POTUS him & his mob wanted blue states go bankrupt because of the billions spent to address the Covid pandemic.
Does Albany really think that Congress will help N.Y.S. & then have to listen to The Conman go into one of his unhinged tirades from MAL?

We do not have to support these migrants who enter illegally. Just leave them on the street to find their own food then job then housing. Those without a serious work ethic will just die off. Maybe then the rest of those in South America who think they will be supported when coming to the USA will stop their journey. All those Busses these migrants are placed on should just head south back to Mexico and let Mexico deal with the problem. The only other solution is to just shoot to death anyone attempting to cross the border into the USA. Very easy in my mind. Elect me President and I will solve this problem overnight right after declaring me a dictator for 24 hours.

Trump's stooges in the HOR can't wipe their butts without his permission. Why would Trump want to be POTUS when he's practically calling the shots from that dump in Florida? Maybe to stay out of the slammer? |

Any proposal from the Whitehouse and the Senate will just be more lip service from Biden and Chucky Schumer and nothing productive will come of it.

The bill has been endorsed by Senate Republicans such as Lindsey Graham & John Thume who have both spoken publicly in favor of it.

From what I have read, Biden and Senate Republicans are working on some sort of restrictions on asylum laws. This is opposed by progressives and House Dems. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
