Merry Christmas PB. I hope you have a great day. Kathy is still in the hospital and I am in quarantine until Thursday. We will just celebrate when she gets home. My neighbor is bringing me Lasagna later for dinner and another friend is bringing me a "care package." She is an awesome cook so no telling what sort of delicious gourmet delights she may bring. Her husband Eddie is also down with covid and my brother in-law that has cancer tested positive this morning. This variant is sure contagious and quick spreading. Eddie and I figure we caught it at the bowling league Christmas party. There are several people of the league that have come down with it.

I have no doubt. I will be vaccinated as soon as I am able and so will Kathy. We were both intending to get the shot right after Christmas. We both felt crappy for a day or two after the last booster so we wanted to wait until after the holidays. How did THAT work out for ME?? Duh! I can guarantee I feel worse with the virus than I ever could from the shot.

So sorry to hear Kathy in the hospital and you recovering from Covid. I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Mine was quiet. 🎄☃️🎁

Well the hits keep right on coming. She is being discharged from the hospital and is being transferred back to the rehab hospital but the bad news is t hat SHE tested positive this morning. Prayers are needed. She is 84 yrs old, has been in a hospital for a week, then rehab for a week, then home for a couple of days, and now she has been in the hospital again for another week, and now headed back to rehab. She is sick of being sick and just wants to come home.

I had the Covid booster a few weeks ago with no side effects besides a sore arm for about a day. Everyone should get it, that virus is far from being done with us. My sister just got over a bout with it, her 4th infection. Don't believe the naysayers. |
