Your thalamus is your body's information relay station. All information from your body's senses (except smell) must be processed through your thalamus before being sent to your brain's cerebral cortex for interpretation. Your thalamus also plays a role in sleep, wakefulness, consciousness, learning and memory.

Kathy is doing well. She left the hospital yesterday and entered a rehab hospital where she is doing very well. I was able to take the little dog (Candy) up there last night so she could spend a little while with her. Candy went crazy when she saw her "mommy." The poor thing didn't know what was going on and why Kathy wasn't here. Every morning when we got up she would go looking for Kathy and whenever I let her out she would run around to the passenger side of the car looking for her.
Kathy was off the oxygen for over 1/2 hour and her levels didn't drop. Hopefully she will be back to her past oxygen needs where she only needs it at night, hooked to her CPAP. I can't go see her until noon today because they do therapy 3 times a day for 1 hour.
Thank you all for your prayers.

And the prayers will keep on coming for you both.
Tell her Betty and I both said "hey".
