We had all three grandsons here for a short time today, a preteen and 2 teenagers. Considering that their builds range from thin to skinny, they can consume an unbelievable number of calories per hour.

I feel your pain. I have three sons and they all were calorie burning furnaces that required refueling several times a day. My oldest son could eat an entire package of Oreo cookies wash them down with an entire half gallon of milk after football practice and it wouldn't even spoil his supper. He is 6'7" and when he was a freshman in high school he grew through my clothes and into size 14 shoes. The youngest is 6'4" and wears size 12 shoes. When he lived with me after I divorced his mom his head was constantly in the refrigerator and pantry. I am surprised he didn't wear out the hinges on the refrigerator door, lol. He could eat a large pizza and 25 wings without batting an eye. How they got through their teen years without getting fat is beyond me.

I remember when I used to eat like that... a bottomless pit. It wasn't a big thing when I was a teenager because I was quite active and it burned off quickly. Then middle age came along, including the pounds, so the eating slowed down. Now as my age has advanced I can't eat very much at one time any more. Like CB, Clipper and most all of us 'old timers' I'm amazed at how much the younger folks consume.
I remember my mom telling me not to have that snack because it'll 'spoil your supper'. That's because she was speaking in her 'middle age' voice to a person in their teenage years. Apparently she had forgotten what it used to be like.
