The "donated body" concept was new to me. I'm not sure how I would respond if someone asked me "would you be willing to let us keep your dead brother's body on life support for another month while we test an experimental procedure that may someday help others?"

One has to wonder if the donor made some sort of agreement beforehand to allow such a thing.

Pigs are close relatives to humans. Aortic valves are often used in transplant. I often wondered why they haven't tried transplanting pig eyes for blind people.....
Someday maybe each family can have a clone to be used for transplant procedures and blood transfusions. Be interesting. They do not need to be identified as humans but as human like pets.

I agree that pigs are close relatives to humans. Just look at Boebert who was playing grabass in a packed theater with her boyfriend during a screening of Beetlejuice. LOL
