Today Barb and I celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Today will be a low key affair, dinner with some close friends. We have a much larger event planned during our trip to Minnesota in a few weeks. Barb told me that for a present she is taking me clothes shopping. I'm so excited I may need another mug of coffee.

Congratulations CB. I hope that you enjoy the trip to Minnesota and the planned celebratory event. 50yrs of marriage in today's world is definitely reason for celebration. Here is hoping that you have many many more years of happiness together. I can relate to the clothes shopping thing. I can't remember the last time I actually bought clothes. Kathy keeps me well clothed. The only problem is that when she buys me new clothes she always wants me to get rid of the ones that I am just getting broken in.  |
