The students got a quick and justified lesson in proper behavior, and the parents got a lesson in discipline and child rearing.
Kudos to the school district for sticking to their guns. The parents and the students should be grateful that the kids graduated and moved on to high school even though they didn't walk across a stage and participate in the ceremony. Actions bring consequences. Maybe the kids will behave better in high school as a result, but I doubt it.
