Back in the 60's the CIA would have put one in Un's ear & made it look like he fell down a flight of stairs & that would have been the end of that problem.

It seems that the US has curtailed such actions to one extent or another. Sadly other countries, Russia included, have not. The world would probably benefit greatly if someone were to administer a lead injection behind one of Putin's ears.

Idk, makes no sense. How many terrorists have been taken out with drone strikes but despots like Putin & Kim Jong Un who both have killed thousands still live like kings.

Very true. I guess there is just a major difference between killing run of the mill terrorists and killing leaders of other nations that would serve the prime purpose of forcing a regime change. International law regarding such things seems a bit muddled and confusing at times.

I don't know that the current Kim is worse than his father or grandfather. We tried using our military to make a regime change in North Korea in the early 50's. That was a miserable failure.

History has proved over and over again that for the US to become involved in any regime changes has led to the loss of thousands of American lives and a protracted conflicts that last for years. My dad was a WWII veteran that was called back to active duty in 1950 to serve 2 yrs during the Korean Conflict. We have repeatedly lost lives by entering into conflicts in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. One can only hope and pray that we never have to put American boots on the ground in Ukraine.
