I was bit surprised to read about this. I LOVE fajita's and steak or shrimp fajita's are a couple of my favorite go-to entrees when we go out for Mexican food. I have always been under the impression that super-heating the hot cast iron skillets they serve them on was what caused the sizzle.
OMG! How revolting. The next thing you know they will be telling us that butchers add water to ground beef to increase the weight. Gee, I always thought it was because the cow drank to much water and was over hydrated.
