I just came back from getting a haircut. It costs me $14 to have the girl run over the top with a #4 guard on the clipper, and the sides with a #3 guard. I just waited over 30 minutes to get a 10 minute haircut. I need to get a clipper with the appropriate numbered guards and just have Kathy do it or do it myself. Heck it won't be too awful long before I can just take an electric shaver to do my whole head and then maybe tighten the strap on the back of my ball cap a notch, lol.

Wow that is cheap. I can't find a barber. I go to the salon at Walmart North Utica. Twice I got this dump girl who screws every hair cut up. She too a chunk out of the right side of my head upper ear area. That was a month ago. I am waiting till it all grows back to I can find someone. I paid $24. for a screwed up job. How do those guards work on a clipper. Is lower number a lower cut or a higher cut. Once before I used a number 6. I forget what does what. Why does everything have to be so complicated.
I tried twice at the barber shop on upper Bleecker St. He must be a good barber cause each time all seats were taker by those waiting and that numbered around 20 guys......

The lower the number the closer the cut PB. I am not fussy about what hair I have left. I just keep it cut fairly short and get a haircut when it begins to feather on the top of my ears or the hair on the back of my neck starts to look a bit bushy.
