www.wktv.com/news/coronavirus/new-york-state-mask-mandate-for-hospitals-and-healthcare-facilities-to-expire-sunday/article_28989ef8-aa68-11ed-9cad-9b8e3a10ce27.htmlAs we are forced to realize that Covid and it's ever-changing variants are not going away, we have to adjust our habits accordingly. Tennessee mask mandates were lifted a long time ago, but it was only recently that grocery stores stopped putting out free masks, hand sanitizer dispensers, but still supply sanitary wipes for the cart handles. Our hospital lifted mask mandates several months ago. That surprised me. I still wear a mask if I go to visit someone in the hospital. Why expose vulnerable patients unnecessarily? Many doctor's offices have lifted the requirement also. Fortunately, some places allow you to wait in your car and they call you on the cell phone when your turn comes up. Smart people will hopefully use some level of common sense and won't simply trash their supply of masks. I carry a ziploc bag with clean masks in the console of the car and often just tuck one in my pocket when I get out of the car.

I wear a mask in public and even around here if I have to pass through many residents. Some people around here do not like that but I cannot afford even a cold anymore. I don't go to any community events . The community room is to enclosed. Today is the super bowl party then the game but I do not watch NFL football. To much is out there Covid, the new variant, RSV and flu.
