Good morning, stay safe on icy roads today

I was just reading about the freezing rain, icy roads, and possible tree and power line damage that is forecast for Utica. Did you get freezing rain and icy roads yesterday also? I was never terribly phased by snowy roads, but freezing rain is a different story.

I was reading a list of school early releases. Some as early as 11am. But only a few closures. Seems odd that there wasn't more closures.

PB, if you are going traveling today be careful walking on icy sidewalks going to and from the bus stop.

Raining hard here now. Once it freezes roads, sidewalks will be treacherous. Looks like a N'oreaster is headed are way for early next week. We shall see.

What a absolute miserable day this is. I slept most of it away for what reason did I have to even rise. Possibly to post this......Back to the couch I go. Good night sleep well for tomorrow is another day.....
