Does anyone have a Humana Honor plan advantage policy for health insurance? I have had the Patriot advantage plan with United Healthcare for the last couple of years but the coverage in this area is questionable. I have an appointment with my agent tomorrow morning to look at changing to Humana.
My dentist, my eye doctor, and now my urologist have stopped taking United Healthcare AARP plans. I don't know the reason at this point but it is obvious that it is NOT the plan to be with if you live here in this area. Humana seems to be more widely accepted here lately.
With most of my prescriptions being filled by the VA, and having the VA clinic for some things is great, but since I pay no premium under my present plan OR Humana's plan I prefer to keep a primary care doctor and some of the specialists that I have been seeing for years, without having to drive to Johnson City to the VA hospital for Xrays or other tests and procedures.
If you have Humana for health insurance how well satisfied with the coverage and benefits?

Betty has Humana and hasn't had any complaints with it.

I recently signed up with Humana so I don't have much experience with them, although I noticed that some of my prescriptions now are free. There's no copay on a couple of them. My Human rep is only a phone call away and she can answer any questions I have. A couple of my friends have Humana and they really like it.

MPO…I only look at MVP and BCBS. I personally would never use anything else but thats just me. I prefer dealing local.
