Some incompetent moron in the Russian military probably entered the wrong coordinates on where the missles were supposed to hit. Whovever is responsible ain't long for this world if that's the case.

At this point it should be a Poland problem to retaliate with their own missiles. NOT a NATO response. The US definitely needs to stay out of it at this point other than issuing a public rebuke and a warning.

I have to agree CB, but I am actually surprised that those defensive missile systems are not already in place along the Polish Border with Ukraine. I am also surprised that we have not supplied Taiwan with more weaponry and technology aimed at deterring China from invading THAT nation. No, I don't like seeing the unending flow of money to Ukraine and hope to see an end to that conflict soon. My hope is that Putin will be taken down and overthrown from within. I think we are in a very precarious position right now. Even more so than during the Cuban missile crisis. At least then with Nikita Khrushchev we were dealing with an adversary that was sound of mind. Putin is a loaded and loose cannon, rapidly being pushed into a corner, desperate and with little or no regard for the lives of his own Russian troops and countryman OR the lives of those around the world living under the threat of a nuclear war that could be triggered in a matter of seconds. A nuclear holocaust that would destroy the world as we know it. I have a questionable level of confidence in either of the two with fingers on the nuclear trigger.

Thankfully, things seem to be a bit cooler this morning. If I understand the new reports this morning, Ukraine fired a missile at a Russian missile and the result was an explosion which killed 2 people in Poland.

Putin is using the same tactics that Stalin used during & after WW2, sending ill equipped & untrained troops to the front, some as young as 10 yrs old. After the war Stain's troops rampaged thru Eastern Europe committing atrocities on civilians too gruesome to relate here. That's what's happening in Ukraine & why Ukraine will never surrender. What's even worse is Putin will never face justice for war crimes. The best we can hope for is someone on the inside putting one in his ear to get rid of him.
