It has been abnormally warm here in recent days. Often 10-15 degrees below normal. Today we are expected to see temperatures rise to 75 with the record for this date being 76. Don't get me wrong. I am certainly not complaining or wishing for the winter weather to arrive.
I don't remember, but are the temperatures in CNY abnormally high for this time of year. I know that I have hunted for deer with snow on the ground for tracking in November, but also remember hunting in a flannel shirt and insulated vest. I still have and wear a bright red chamois shirt that I used to wear hunting.

First week of November and we slept with the windows open last night. There have been many years when we have had to use the snowblower not the leaf blower at this time of the year.

The high yesterday was 77*. We also slept with the windows open last night. Today I sat outside with just a flannel on with a cup of joe as temps were in the 60's. Finished up some yard work & the lawn could probably be mowed again, but I probably won't bother. Never in all my days have I seen weather like this in the month of November.

I forgot to mention that the record was broken yesterday also by two degrees. It hit 84 and the previous record was 82. It is going to be and awful shock to the system when we wake up some morning and it is in the 20's, lol. I guess I am ready. We have a little coat rack on the wall by the door. I have my quilt lined flannel and a ball cap on one hook and the winter jacket and wool ski hat on standby on the next hook.
