Well lungs have not cleared after this bout of illness i have had so after 3 xrays this scan is ordered. My left lower lobe of that lung has a infiltrate in it that will not go away. An infiltrate can be fluid or pus left over from the pneumonia so that has to be identified. What is next who knows!

Hope all goes well. Probably want you to fast so a full stomach doesn't affect the image of your lungs. Where do you have to go for the test?

Gee, one would think that after the firsr two xrays or even the first one they would have sent you for the C-Scan without doing more xrays, but what do I know. But good luck with your test. I've had a c-scan & the test took less then 5 minutes. I had mine done at Faxton. |

The test is very easy I have had 3 others due to COPD. BUT THIS ONE CAME BACK VERY BAD. I have to tal with my primary Doc on Thursday and then my Pulmonologist and now I need a Cardiologist. The virus did much damage to my lungs and for some reason I have an aorta aneurysm which is right not not to large but of concern and has to be followed up on continuing. Both lower lungs are seriously damaged with major scaring and presence of the infiltrate. May need some type of ablation. I have some sort of glassy appearance in upper right and left part of lungs.
So I asked who pays for all this. They thought I was making a joke I wasn't. First I want to know the cost then I will DECIDE if I want to do further treatment. This is ridiculous. Now I find out they want my balance paid foo of $32.00. I told them to Fu$k off.
