It got hot yesterday afternoon while we were wandering around town shopping and eating lunch out. We each received a coupon for $20 "free play" at the casino, so we took $100 and our coupons and went to the casino. I played for about 2 hours, up and down, on my free play and finally hit a penny machine for $987.49 on a $1.50 bet. Kathy didn't win anything on the free play and spent $40 of her money.
We took the money and ran. We will have to see if they send us free play for next month. We each got $20 for each of the four weeks in August, but each was only good for the 7 days before it expired. We only used the last one. I wonder how many people they suck into going every week. It is doubtful that people would go for the $20 and leave if they lost it. We enjoy playing the slots, but only go once a month and only take what money we plan to spend in with us. We leave our debit cards in our wallets.
Stay safe from the extreme heat up there in CNY today. I have been reading all the warnings to keep pets inside and out of the heat as well as cautions for those attending the State Fair. It is going to be hotter there than it is going to be here today.
