Stay cool and stay safe PB. I was reading all the warnings about avoiding heat related issues at the State Fair. I don't think I would want to be wandering around the fairgrounds in that sort of weather. Be careful in your travels today.

Hot or not, I will be out mowing later on this afternoon. This seems to be the only day in a while where the weather is going to cooperate with my scheduled days off. Lot's of ice water will make my day.  |

Rain tomorrow. Today was very uncomfortable. I cannot believe Wednesday it will be a high of only 67! Wait to later on to mow Ralph.

Hot or not, I will be out mowing later on this afternoon. This seems to be the only day in a while where the weather is going to cooperate with my scheduled days off. Lot's of ice water will make my day. I was out the other day for 3 or 4 hours and was so wet with sweat that Kathy had to peel my shirt off over my head. It was stuck right to my back. I think I did two bottles of water and a bottle of cold sweet tea while I was out and a couple more cold beverages when I got back in. |

Only muggy for today not as hot as Monday. S cold front is on the way with 60's by Thursday===a hint of Fall!!!!!!!!!

I am looking forward to that hint of fall. It has been a hot summer and I will be glad to be able to work outside with temps in the 70s, then the 60's, 50's and so on until it is a bit chilly to be outside working. Then I can throw on a flannel shirt, light a fire in the woodstove in the shop and make sawdust until spring comes around again.
It has been a bit warmer than I like this summer. 90s are great in small doses, but when a heat wave lasts for a week or more at a time I prefer a break with the temps falling at least into the mid 80s. Sadly, with climate change, we are probably destined to see MOST summers this hot or progressively getting hotter.

Today it was only in the low 80's but humid as hell. It rained here a little while ago for about 5 minutes, I hope we get more as my backyard is taking a beating with the lack of rain. I haven't had to mow in a couple weeks. |
