I wasn't able to get it to open by simply clicking on the link, but when I copied the link and googled it, I was able to access it. Thank you very much for the link Kit.

Utica needs another Donalty's. Not only did they have great baked beans, they also had the very best thick sliced liverwurst and bologna sandwiches, Limburger either on a plate with vinegar or in a sandwich with onion and hot mustard, and pickled eggs. It was always amazing to me that that little hole in the wall pumped more draft Utica Club and Matt's beer than any other customer the brewery had, and the last customer that received full size kegs rather than halves or quarter kegs.

I am ready for some beans. I bought 2 lbs of navy beans on my way back from an eventful trip for lab work. Also bought some slab bacon at the meat counter.

We have an antique brown crockery bean pot that belonged to Kathy's grandmother. It is an heirloom and a shelf sitter. I have never seen her use it. It just sits in our hutch keeping the crystal company. She does beans in a deep corning ware casserole dish with a cover.

I used to have some of those corning ware dishes I may have better luck finding one of them. Oh I think I saw one either in New York Connection window or the other place across the street I forgot its name. My Grandmother also had those brown bean pots and a few of my Aunts. A Priest friend of mine I visited in Boston his Mom had a few smaller versions. $53.00 at Walmart but they are out of them

I recently saw a set of bean pots at an estate sale. There was the big pot like we have and there were 4 little single serve size pots. I assume that the beans would simply be served in the small version. I can't imagine preparing separate portions and baking them in those little pots. They were asking something like 50 bucks for the set. I guess that is probably a reasonable price for an antique bean pot.
I always browse the kitchen ware at those sales for corning pieces and Revere ware.
PB if you want Corning casseroles check out the online garage sale sites on FB. I see a lot of that sort of thing on the local ones here. I browse them every day for tools. I have an entire drawer full of screwdrivers, probably 30 or more, and another full of various pairs of pliers in my roll around tool box, but ya never know when I might need THIRTY ONE screwdrivers, haha.

I couldn't get it to open either. I don't know why it wouldn't open in Proboards, but I copied and pasted it to my browser search bar and it opened right up.
