This started three days ago. I cannot post a photo or edit anything because all the tools necessary to do anything that normally on top of any post is gone. All I can do is type. Even the like button doesn't work when I tick that the page jumps to the top of the board.Anyone else have this crazy problem. For instance the only think in the header is Add Poll , Add Event and Add Attachment. If I tick on one of them nothing happens.

I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem but send Ralph a msg and maybe he knows how to fix it. He is on more than one Proboards. He is on a couple of bird forums with other McCaw owners. You can send him a private message and I am sure he will get back to you. He works nights so I don't know his daytime schedule.

I think my laptop is on the way out. I bought it in 2004 and it has served me well. Even Spectrum techs said the think is way to old and that is why I am not getting anywhere the speed I am paying for namely 300Mbps I am only get around 15 right now slower than slow.

I can't find any problems as such reporter on ProBoards, nor can I offer up a solution.
It may be your browser news to be "rescued". Sometimes this is simply saving your bookmarks, deleting the browser and reinstalling it fresh.

Well now it appears that all is working except it is so slow and when I type there is a delay in the appearance of the letters. I give up.

That sounds more like a computer problem than a Proboards problem.

Well now it appears that all is working except it is so slow and when I type there is a delay in the appearance of the letters. I give up. Does the delay happen just on this forum or on other applications? There are a lot of speed tests available to test your upload and download speed. |

Let's see if the typing is slow again and bye golly it is working fine. I have been checking my speed test using the site a Spectrum Tech said to use and the tests results are not good. He even said he doubts I get another 6 months of use on this thing. Hopefully I can wait and then take advantage of sales during holiday months I will have to see. No matter which site I am using like Google News or Email or MSN the loading of the pages is very very slow on some days.
